This milestone focuses on building a strong foundation in cybersecurity and preparing for the CompTIA Security+ certification (SY0-701). The preparation covers essential security domains such as threat detection, risk management, cryptography, identity and access management (IAM), network security, and security operations. A combination of theoretical study and hands-on labs is used to simulate real-world security scenarios, including vulnerability analysis, incident response, and system hardening. This milestone strengthens my ability to identify, analyze, and mitigate security risks, and prepares me to contribute to secure IT environments across systems, networks, and cloud infrastructures.

A significant part of the learning process is based on practical labs performed in real or virtualized environments, simulating real-world system administration tasks. This milestone strengthens my ability to manage, configure, and troubleshoot Linux systems in professional environments and builds a solid foundation for system administration and DevOps roles.
